Pastor Jerry became the minister of Covenanat of Joy in October of 1999.  Pastor Jerry comes to
Convenant of Joy after serving churches in Kansas and most recently Lakeland, Florida.
Pastor Jerry is a "second-career" minister and brings with him a wealth of lived experiences
that allow him to understand the challenges and rewards of life.

Pastor Jerry and his new wife, Sharon, who has lived in the Canyon/Amarillo area for the
past 2 1/2 years recently moved into a home near the church.  Sharon moved to the
Amarillo area to work as a music buyer for Anderson Merchandisers.  Both Pastor Jerry
and Sharon are excited with the opportunity to serve Covenant of Joy.  Both also
feel that Covenant of Joy has many spiritual gifts to share with the community.

Pastor Jerry and Sharon have three grown children living in Tulsa, Forth Worth and
Baltimore, Maryland.  They both have numerous interests including sports, crafts, reading,
and cooking and would like to share these with anyone interested.

Pastor Jerry believes that every person is on a faith journey that begins with beginners faith and
progresses to mature Christian faith.  He and Covenant of Joy are here to help you on
every step of this pilgrimage.
